Do you know a military man or woman stationed away from his/her family for the holiday season.

America owes a great debt to the brave military that serves and stands guard to protect our freedom.

Would you like to mention them, say where they are located?

Our family says "thank you"....God bless our troops!

Yes, I have many friends currently in the military and away from their families this holiday season.

You're welcome and thanks for thinking about us.

I am currently serving in the Marine Corps as a Sergeant. I am at the Pentagon right now. I just got back from doing a tour in Indonesia. The hardest part emotionally is not being able to maintain relationships because of the constant moving. But so far it has been worth it, by far. As far as this goes though, I mostly respect the wives/ husbands and kids. We volunteer for it, but they have to live it in support of us. I feel like it takes a strong family to survive that.

My son's a United States Marine. Thanks for thinking of our servicemen and servicewomen. They mean the world to their families, and we miss them during the holidays. It is always touching when people take a moment to appreciate them.
