Okay here is the problem. I hard boil my eggs the same way each time (12 mins boil, and cool but not cold to peel). When I do this they turn out perfect. But there are times when I peel them and they stick to the shell, Why? Not just one but the whole batch will do this!!! LOL, I just ruined a dozen eggs for deviled eggs. Is it that the batch is bad? Any thoughts?

Your eggs are too fresh.

Actually, your eggs are VERY fresh that is why they do not peel well. As eggs age air builds up between the membrane and the shell this makes it easier to peel. So while your eggs may not look very pretty you can rest assured that they are very fresh.

Eggs that are too fresh do not peel well. You need to buy them 2 weeks in advance. They will peel like nothing.

Eggs are to fresh, you need to have eggs that have been in the fridge for a few days. Really!!!

Just carefully peel the eggs next time. And if they still taste good, they don't matter anyway. Rotten ones are always a no-no.
