Don't know if I've ever heard of anyone asking that specific question, but essentially it would mean why you want a higher education, why is it important to you. The family tie thing is difficult to establish precisely, but again, you might want to talk about what you intend to do with your degree once you get it. The consular officers know that it's difficult for an 18 year old to show strong ties, which is why they don't approve many for tourist visas, but the same officer might very well approve a person for a student visa that he would normally deny for a student visa. The real question is one of intent. Do you intend to use the student visa to go to school and get your degree, or not?

the basis of your question is embodied on your 2d paragraph. Registered. in case you're registered, i assume you mean to vote, this suggests which you're a resident of that State. confident you will pay taxes of that State. even with the undeniable fact that in case you haven't any longer have been given an area of abode in the united states you does no longer be to blame for State taxes. As for the abortion question, no. The State regulation won't be ready to be utilized in case you're outdoors of the State boundary. merely as in case you have been to bypass to a distinctive State to have an abortion which did no longer have the form of regulation. you do no longer carry a weapon interior a Consulate or Embassy till you're authorized. till for sure you elect a US marine to take you down.
