I like this girl for about a year now, and she knows I like her but she doesn't seem interested.But I don't know how does she feel.That's why I sent her a sms message in which I asked her are things possible between me and her.She hasn't answered yet and it has already been a day.What does this mean?She doesn't like me or she just thinks it through?

The absolute best, and most sincere, way to a girl's heart is to speak to her in person in a quiet setting. I am not familiar with SMS, but I assure you that talking to a girl eye to eye and sharing your feelings will be most effective.
Show her that you are not shy, not afraid and really care by approaching her very calmly. If you are in control of yourself and the conversation, she will give greater attention to what you are saying and will respond immediately.
Isn't that what you really want?

Can you tell if she read the message,because on some sites they told you.If she did read it she might be shy,or something.Just give her some more time.Mabey she has been busy and hasn't been on.It's hard to let some one know you like them,and she should admire that.If i were you i would wait a little more. =]

She could be thinking that you are kidding around because I mean seriously....how many guys ask girls to be their gf via sms????
Maybe she is thinking it through!
Why don't you call her and ask her if she got your sms, and if she says yes...then take the hint ;) If she says no...then resend it.
