If you have glasses, I would wear them. I think she wants you to look smart and glasses tend to make people look smarter. Go and get a pair even if you don't have prescription.

If she said smart u dont need a tie. Just wear it, if it fit with the cloth. Dont wear funny ties with big pictures on it. Keep it simple. If u dont got a nice tie dont wear it. Just make sure ur cloth are clean.
