So long as you have to stay in this situation, be also accountable to yourself. If you are required to do things that you would prefer not to do, do them while bringing your own integrity to the work. Behave according to your best standards, take pleasure from doing things well and build trust in yourself. Then, when the opportunity comes for you to be with other leaders, or to be a leader, you will be able to take it with confidence.

In your wording "the leadership appears to be more manipulative than you thought!" Would this mean you were already aware of it?
Jesus led by example and said, "Follow me!" To many leaders are driving the sheep instead of leading them from the front.
Ask God to show you the way out - there is always a way of escape!
And remember - if there is a counterfeit like them - then there is the real thing - find it and it will bring fulifllment into your life.
Blessings

First ask yourself if you are truly submitted to what God is working to accomplish there. If you are than seek the grace of God to be able to work with your team, and pray that God would speak to their hearts and show them if there are any changes they need to make in the way of leading. Trust that the Holy Spirit is the guide of every outreach that is true to God's will.
Jesus gave these words in Matthew 5:22-24,
"But I say to you that he who is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of judgment. And whoever says to his brother, "Raca!" shall be in danger of the council. But whoever says, "You fool!" shall be in danger of hell fire. Therefore if you bring your gift to the alter, and there remember that your brother has something against you, leave your gift there before the alter, and go and be reconciled to your brother, and then come and offer your gift."
In other words make amends while you are still able. Then if God directs you to depart you are free to leave. However, be sure that it is God's will for you to depart on not simply your own desire.
God bless you.

Get out before it harms your soul or stay in and send info to a reporter or someone else in your organization or a similar organization or funders. It sounds like a festering fungus that needs the public light of scrutiny and accountability.
