Could be both but I get he back pain while hunched over the computer. Swing your arms around like windmills with your back straight and the pain should recede

Ok, here is an Ancient Chinese secret and don't pass it on. Find a round, smooth head with a handle somewhat in a size of a golf ball. Lay flat position in your bed looking up into the ceiling and close your eyes. With the preferred object, point the ball side into your back where your backpain is and press it. Now you got to press it where it hurts, then hold it until your brain tingles which is a good feeling too. Afterward, your backpain is gone until you get another one. Live good.

It could well be sitting at a desk for long periods . . . the vertebrae will get compressed during the day and you need to stretch as often as possible. Staring at a computer screen for long hours is not good either and changing the tilt on your screen or height of your chair can help. Best bet is to get up and walk around the room every so often.

Yes, it could be due 2 long hours of sitting on ur PC. Try any analgesic available off the counter along with Tablet Diazapam 2 mgm. If there is no relief, see ur doc.

They say that most of this is due to stress, bad posure or lack of exercise. But it may be serious and not the above. See site below if you think that it is not from stress.
