Hard to answer as I believe from my experience - age of travellers makes a difference. Based on my expereince:
Disney -$$$ I was on the Magic Cruise - wow is all I can say. Just fantastic. We went with our young daughter during Halloween. It was so much fun. It is expensive but so worth it. So much to do for any age category. The food was out of this world and each restaurant was so unique. Cabins were larger than most Curise Lines!
Costa - $$$ We had a balcony suite. It was beautiful. Fod was good but largley Italian oriented in theme nights. A little older crowd so good if you are looking for a more mature cruise.
Carnival - $ younger crowd. I was not overly impressed. I guess you get what you pay for. Food was bland and the ship was dated. We admittedly were on one of the older ships. The pools were empty and when they filled one brown water came rushing out flooding the deck. One floor if the ship smelled like human waste. I udnerstand that all ships aren't as bad as the one were were on but be aware they are not the greatest.
Holland America $$$ - older crowd, hgih end - but wow on food. Nice smaller ships. Not too much for small children and teens!
Royal Carribean $$ (but better than most) - this is my first choice aside from Disney. This Cruise Line has it all - so much to do!!!!!! Too many things to describe. Foods great, activities are great and the ships have something for everyone. I doubt anyone could find much to complain about.
Norweigen $ - older ships but very casual. If casul is what you want then this is your cruise line. This line does not offer assigned seating whihc some people seem to prefer. There is not all the pomp and circumstance. However, I lile dressing up and gettign wined and dined with gourmet food.
No other cruise lines to report on. No matter where you are from I would suggest you look at the deals on www.vacationstogo.com They have the best deals. We are from Canada and could not find any other booking agent that could compare in prices.
Enjoy!!

Disney Cruise Lines are great but expensive-about $4300 for two in a room w/ veranda for the 7 day land/sea package to Nassau/Castaway Cay. Excursions are extra. As the old saying goes-you can't put a price tag on a good time!

Princess, Celebrity, and NCL are in my opinion, the best cruises out there. I've never sailed with Carnival but i've heard they are the worst despite the whole "we're the fun ships" thing. Carnival is supposedly very noisy and crowded and the people are not the best.
