I used to be really cheeky and think that everything that I got I deserved, as in material things and love etc. As I've grown earlier I realise that my mum and dad have given so much to me and that I dont deserve to have it all.

They have given me everything that I ever wanted growing up and I only remember being a stroppy teenager not thanking them for anything.

I also had a boyfriend at 17 and I just rebbelled from school etc all the while my mum and dad were supporting me etc. I feel so bad.

Now I am in second year uni I feel so guilty for being like this and I just want to make my mum and dad proud.

I also dont like things about myself and I know my mum and dad wouldnt like my uni way of life sometimes. The way we go out, all the boys etc. I feel as if I need to be perfect.

What do you think?

Quit beating yourself up. Many teenagers and young adults take things for granted.

Just tell your parents that you realize how immature that was, and let them know that you apologize. They will be proud that you have grow up to be such a sensible young adult!!

Well better late than never. You can thank your parents now for all they have given you. You are making them proud by continuing your education and later becoming an independent and productive human in society. Always show respect to your parents. You will realize this later in life as you become a parent.

So grow up. Apologise to your folks (they love you, it's just some of the things you DO they can't stand), clean your act up, and make sure you get a good degree classification.

As a parent all I can say is it doesn't matter much.

My love for my kids is unconditional.
Be true to yourself.

And don't forget us parents weren't angels either.
