Starting a diary is a great way of benefiting yourself in many ways. As many of the other listeners have answered: It will provide you a secret place, it will give you things to look back on in the past, for more ideas you might tend to make a scrapbook out of it. I'm a male myself. Many men may think of scrapbooking as feminine but, to be honest... it allows you to be creative, relieve stress, and seek self-satisfaction. Allowing yourself to open up to new oportunities and ideas of creativity in your life is a great thing. Who knows ... you might find yourself wanting to be a writer...

Hi a d,
Blog it, keep from others, then print it out, take it over to Kinko's have em make into a book, & just keep adding to it (no need to write as long as you typing this anyway). Good thing to LQQk back at for you a lifetime, your children, children's children will have all your expertise you've written. Just don't lose the key if doing diary unless you can pick locks.
Have a good AM. :0)
Additional Details: personally I can't read my own penmanship.

Yes. When you're older, you get to see the notes about things that happened when you're young.
