My belief system (paganism) does not acknowledge that sin exists. Therefore doubting it can't be sinful.
Everyone is called to question their beliefs. That means that you don't know everything, which is not a bad thing. It does mean that there is no right or wrong answer. You can't learn anything without questioning everything you come across.

Reply 1: Oh, putting words into my mouth, I get it!
No, I don't feel guilty if I do doubt because the temptation to doubt comes as a matter of course. Don't you doubt your own principles or conclusions sometimes?
Reply 2: Generally no, unless that doubt was sought perhaps as an end in itself and led to ultimate repudiation of what was formerly believed. Doubt in general is akin to temptation: for so long as there was no free consent on the part of an individual, there is no imputable blame.
Reply 3: No, because the fault, if any, was attributable to me and not to my religion.
Question 2 U: Do you think guilt and feeling the only bases for religion?

I don't feel guilty if this doubt take me for the truth, if my religion is worth to be the best one in my eyes.
my religion doesn't look at many doubting as a sin, some of it is sin, this which make problems between people,couples...
but this doubt that lead you to the truth is permissible, no it is necessary.

Religions generally tell people not to question central precepts. Guilt is one way they function.

fear is a powerful weapon, leaves people with no freedom at all. Religions need fear. Fear of suffering and death is what keeps the money rolling in.
