This story has a lesson and we all know that God has created human beings to work and earn food for our survival. If we open our mouth and lie down under a tree God is not going to drop food in our mouth. For that we have to work and sometimes work harder.
The foolish man sleeping under the tree will not survive unless he gets his food. His argument is wrong as a young lad of 20 years. When we reach an old age after earning and saving our money for the old age then it is okay because the food is secured for the rainy days.
