She is also using my locker and barrowed my key and lost it. I cant believe that the guard need to destroy my padlock for that reason so i could get my stuff and do my job

I hope you learned a good lessen here. I hope your room mate replaces your padlock because she is responsible for the lock being destroyed. Get a combination lock so you don't have any problem with keys.

Next time, you can write to the manufacturer for a new key. The back of every lock has a code on it. The manufacturer keeps keys (and combinations for those that need it) that are also coded to your lock. You could try contacting them by email, but I don't know if they will send keys with a computer contact.

Always have a spare. You can never tell when you might lose your keys.

I keep all my spare keys at home. Only key without a spare is the house key (if i lose the house key, I will need to replace the lock anyway).
