What a nightmare.
People will use any self-insulating philosophy to protect their decisions, including religion. It's the same way with the rape victim in Saudi Arabia who will now be whipped in public with 200 lashes, just for speaking out.

Islam as stated clearly in the Qur'an,God prohibited an incest marriage.Someone is not allowed to get married with his own daughter or among brother and sister and also between father in law and his daughter in law.It is a haram(not allowed)marriage.They have a great sin and they should be punished by stone throwing until death especially for his father
So Islam do not approve the incest marriage.

First cousin is not like your brother/sister. They're of different father and mother .. And it's allowed, but it isn't preferred. I don't think people should marry their first cousins, but Islam doesn't go against it. My friend loves her cousin, LIKE HELL, and I see nothing wrong with it. They're not of the same parents so how can it be incest?

Incest is forbidden in Islam…
However, as there are some Christians or Jews or other people who do not take their religion as a guide to their life, they may commit incest on a personal level…
However, in no mean at all the percentage would reach those in the west, USA or other non-Muslim countries, not even by one in a tenth of a million…
And while sexual misconduct is the norm in the west and other non-Muslim countries; Islam calls for best virtues and honourable vice…
