No, The whole England camp needs a serious re-think, they should get rid of McLaren and have a really good LONG search and think for the best candidate, rather than picking someone quickly.
There are plenty of options out there, the FA just have to have the patience to wait for the right manager to come along.

Huh? Another 2 years? As an Italy fan, I would be happy because one of strong competitor would be eliminated. But as a footbal fan, well... how come a football powerhouse employ such coach in such long time? They should appoint better coach. Perhaps they can contract Fabio Capello or Big Sam, or, at least, Ruud Gullit. They are masterminds. What a waste of talent!

At 2-2 we were comforting ourselves that with McLaren still in sharge, it would be all down hill for England.

Well Princess I am answering AFTER McClaren got sacked and after reading the comments from 'gorilla' I am moved to suggest he is the next English manager because he is a joker like the previous boss and like his name suggests, all their fans behave like apes and monkeys.
So its toodle pip to Engurlunds chances.

Hell no! They should have got rid of him over a year ago! I said from the start that he was the wrong man for the job, he wasn't any good when he was Sven's number two, so what made them think he would be a good manager?
He shouldn't be in charge for another two minutes.

i think mclaren, should re-think his stratedgy, and go and grab himself a sunday league team, and drop the shower hes got now like a bad habit..theres a lot of sunday league players that would have put up a better performance than that over paid bunch, and would welcome half of there salary.
