Why are people so obsessed with how the earth and humans came to be? Why does it matter weather it was God or an explosion and why do people keep arguing over it today?

I'm not saying its bad to know I'm just curious as to why people argue so much over it, it seems pointless because neither side will ever break down.

When I was a little boy, I asked my Mother where babies come from. Without skipping a beat, she said "Texas". We lived in NYC at the time. 21 years or so later my first baby was born in Wichita Falls, Texas. I always knew my Mother would not lie to me.

Curiousity is the path to wisdom.

Questions is the path to knowledge.

Knowledge is the path to power.

Power in self, overcoming Ignorance. Power unto others depics Intelligence. Power over Economi dictates Greed.
Many reason to seek over... and for this one question you ask, as many others have asked, is the path to know the Truth.
And Truth is the Power to overcome the insinuating whispers of the Father of Lies, The Devil.

Good question. I think it's because we all have control issues and we all want to be right. Neither side can prove to the other which is true. Or could it be because people want what others have?

Its related to the question of human constitution. If we are all matter, then we end up as matter. Matter is all there is. But if we are not anly matter but also spirit, then there are spiritual needs of man that only spiritual things can satisfy.

How humans were born into this earth matters because it leads to where we end up when we die.

Are you saying, why bother asking questions? Not asking anything ever is a good way to stay ignorant.
