Hey Rolanda,

Yes appearance does matter. But it is also true that what is on the inside matters as well. Given the choice between someone who is drop dead gorgeous but ugly on the inside, or someone who is "butt ugly" but beautiful on the inside i would choose the latter. However, there is no reason why a person couldn't choose both.

Appearance does matter because being attracted to your spouse/significant other is important. i think some of the most beautiful women i've ever met are women who i found average or slightly above average but as i got to know them better found that they were so beautiful on the inside-- and it made them stunning.

Kindly,

Nickster

No matter what we say, appearence does matter.

It's true that what is truly important in the long run is what we are inside. But hey, people wouldn't wanna get too close to you to find out about the true you if you looked really.......uninteresting:)

Well, not all of us are born with drop-dead gorgeous looks. But we could always take care of ourselves & maintain ourselves in a way that we'd look quite presentable.

I guess, outer appearance is important. But the inner beauty is more important:)
Both needed!!

Cheers!

No, it doesn't. I am serious when I say, "it matters what's inside", because I need to know how a person thinks, how their brain works, to know whether or not I'm going to want to get to know that person.

once you're seventy, will you nonetheless have an identical tastes in what makes you fascinated in somebody? No thank you to understand till it takes place. And if a guy or woman gets fortunate adequate to have a protracted term marriage, won't the affection and the lifestyles of intimacy reason actual allure to nonetheless exist? that's how that's distinctive. i understand numerous center elderly adult males who think of, "yup, she's a especially woman" approximately youthful stars, yet locate themselves far greater *attracted* to females of their very own age. i do no longer take place to have the form of friendship with any elderly adult males that could make it available to ask them how beautiful they locate females of their very own age as against the generally youthful attractive females on television, besides the undeniable fact that it is not complicated to think of that there is something comparable happening with them.

yes and no.

If someone has a good mind, but they are not too goodlooking (but im talking horrifying) than that is a bit of a turnoff, but on the other side of the coin, so is a highly attractive woman with no mind. I look for a middle ground.

Well.......there has to be some sort of physical attraction, so that the other person can catch my attention, unless I am around the person, and get to know them (such as work or church). So yes appearance at first...then it doesn't matter, (as long as they are hygenic)

It matters to me to a certain extent.
What can I do with a hot gut that treats me like dirt? I would avoid him as much as possible, so his looks wouldnt really matter because i wouldnt even want to see him.

I love everyone period.I hate evil.I hate violence. I hate the evil

inside the person but love the person. If you strip the evil away. There is good somewhere to be found.Appearance is nothing.

The spirit is eternal.

to be perfectly honest

...yes

but, i don't think that makes a person shallow

we're all different and like different things

if appearances truly didn't matter to anybody, then we would never look in the mirror, because who would care
