I mean He came back to life. If I was planning to commit the perfect murder I'd be pissed if the victim came back to life.

No doubt Jesus was put on the cross. Now the question is, whether he died after Crucifixion or Roman soldiers left the place and Jesus did not actually die. He was senseless. A few of his devoted followers took him to the cave and after two day's nursing he was cured. He, then returned with those followers, who, to save Jesus from being crucified again, told people the story that, Jesus has risen after death. Then those followers left the place along with Jesus (claiming that, Jesus is now going to the heaven) so that Roman soldiers don't follow and catch them. Some of the people were superstitious and believed the story.
Paul was a Jew and a great enemy of Jesus. He was very much intelligent. When he heard the news, he got an idea to use the event in his favor. He came to Nazareth and told people that, on the way coming, he met Jesus and Jesus made him his representative, Jesus is God, son of God. Finally, Paul could remove influence of real teaching of Jesus and succeeded to make himself as prime man of the religion as representative of Jesus, God, Son of God. Paul could live a glorious life indeed.
Seems like a fairy tale?

"AN EVIL AND ADULTEROUS GENERATION SEEKETH AFTER A SIGN; AND THERE SHALL NO SIGN (no miracle) BE GIVEN TO IT, BUT THE SIGN (miracle) OF THE PROPHET JONAS: FOR AS JONAS WAS THREE DAYS AND THREE NIGHTS IN THE WHALE'S BELLY; SO SHALL THE SON OF MAN BE THREE DAYS AND THREE NIGHTS IN THE HEART OF THE EARTH." (Matthew 12:39-40).

Did Jesus fulfill the only sign he gave? Christendom answers with a unanimous Y-E-S!

If Jonah was alive for three days and three nights, then Jesus also ought to have been alive in the tomb as he himself had foretold! But Christianity hangs on the flimsy thread of the death" of Jesus for its salvation. So it has to answer that Jesus was DEAD for three days and three nights. The contradiction between his utterance and its fulfilment is obvious. Jonah ALIVE, Jesus DEAD! Very UNLIKE Jonah! Jesus had said "LIKE Jonah" not UNLIKE Jonah. If this is true then according to his own test Jesus is not the TRUE Messiah of the Jews. If the Gospel record is genuine then how can we blame the Jews for rejecting "CHRIST".

Well i am not supporting Jews, I am trying to tell you he didnt die for your damn sins.

Just as our Lord saved Prophet Abraham (pbuh) from the fire, He rescued Prophet Jesus (pbuh) from this trap by raising him to His presence:

And their saying: "We killed the Messiah, Jesus son of Mary, Messenger of God." They did not kill him and they did not crucify him, but it was made to seem so to them. Those who argue about him are in doubt about it. They have no real knowledge of it, just conjecture. But they certainly did not kill him." (Al Quran - Surat an-Nisa': 157)

Jesus came back to life because his Father resurrected him. That was the prize for dying faithful to Him. You also have the same opportunity of being resurrected to life eternally, like Jesus did; just follow his footsteps.

however, He was truly dead before they took Him off the cross

when the soldier pierced Jesus' side with a spear
"blood and water" came out - showing that the blood was already separating due to death

His death paid the price of sin -

Ironic???

It's a prophecy !!!

Didn't you know that was actually a prediction of the Obi Wan Kenobi death scene in Star Wars?

It's in the Bible. . . . It MUST be true!

"If you strike me down, I shall become more powerful than you can possibly imagine."
