i met this guy at a party, we exchanged numbers and have talked about 3 times on the phone. we plan to meet and go to a movie, but i overlooked ever asking him what his name was! I can't seem to remember any time when he has said it. none of my friends know him, so how do i pull this off without being embarassed.

Well not everyone is bothered by the name thing. I'm not offended when someone asks. If you have a roommate or a friend over you could have them ask him his name. A silly one that actually does work sometimes is IDs. If you have your wallet out for some reason make a comment about how your drivers license or student ID (if you're in grade school or college) looks ridiculous and show him. Ask him for his. It's really not that obvious if you make it seem natural. Most people are happy to reciprocate actions when you share something with them.

Hahaha I've been in that position. I met this guy in Hawaii. Anyway, I forgot his name, and he remembered mine...I ended up finding his myspace (he'd gave me his email along with his number), and that's how I figured it out. You could always text him and ask if he has a myspace/facebook, etc. and try to get somewhere that way...Good luck!

This is waht u do, when ur at the movies, if u have a cell phone, put the number in and while ur putting it in ask him how he spells his name.

Simple! Just simply ask him in a casual manner about his full name. I am sure he will tell you.

Ask him his middle name. A little later, call him by his middle name, and he'll correct you!

Okay, does he call you or u call him....if he calls you, be like ummmm, this is embarrassing, but not sure who I'm talking to....act like u don't no who is calling u.....then he will be like this is John.....or whatever........worth a try!!! ....If you call him....act ditsy and be think oh my gosh, who did I just call..........do anything tht would reveal his name! lol U got 2 no!!!..............Luck girl! :)

say "heyy sexyy"
or something like that...
