I know a condom is a good idea....but what else....shouldn't I take a pill or something?.....What one..........condom alone okay???

Just wait...Wait until you are older, wiser, more married. It isn't just sex. There are pheromones and hormones that are being secreted that are produced to bring two people closer. After sex things get more complicated. Wait until you know exactly who you are and who you want to support you. If this guy cannot provide (everything, emotional, physical, spiritual, financial,etc.) you should not do this. Keep it smart, if he is carousing you into do this, don't. If he threatens to leave, let him.

You sound young, although I applaud you for wanting to practice safe sex.
Definately a condom is a must.
There are other things you can use in addition to a condom that can give you even more protection against pregnancy.
Go to the drug store and look at the other things that are on the shelves near the condoms.
Without getting too graphic, there are things that you can use to block the sperm if it should happen to leak or the condom breaks.

In all honesty, if you dont know the answer to this question, you shouldn't be having sex.
But to answer your question, its always best to double up. I've known many people who got pregnant on just the Pill (or other forms of female birth control) and those who have gotten pregnant by just using a condom. But really, even if you are on the pill or whatever, use a condom. Its just smart.

birth control is a good idea. i think birth control is more effective than condoms, but use both now thats EVEN better.

Here's your best answer: Don't do it. So not worth it and stupid anyway. Sorry for my blunt-ness...but that's me. It's a VERY dumb thing to do if you're even getting worried about getting pregnate. IT IS A STUPID, STUPID, STUPID UNENTELLIGENT THING TO DO!
