I was in a long discussion with someone and he told serioulsy not joking that he knew of five people called the
" sacred five" that have certain abilities he said that he knew them and they were friends in a way it was just the way he said it that sort of convinced me he said it with pure seriousness i asked him some more questions but he did not answer them i half believed about this what is your outlook on this?

If so are you born with the abilities or is possible to be a "late bloomer" because i've experienced something somehow similiar look at my other questions

I do believe certain people have abilities, they are considered the chosen ones. I feel they just lucked out!

According to the Bible, gifts are given to people. As for the tounges part, the new plan of Salvation after the day of Pentecost (Acts 2:38-29) says that if you repent and are baptized in Jesus name, you will receive the Holy Ghost, which is speaking in tounges and it is promised to EVERYONE, as the Bible says. It explains how the Holy Ghost is tounges throughout Acts and it was also prophesied by Joel and Isaiah in the Old Test. If you don't believe me, take a look for yourself! Peter (I think) also explained that when the peole began speaking in tounges that this was the Holy Ghost that Isaiah and Joel were speaking about in the Old test. What kind of abilities? Akin to Heroes or something? I can't say that I have met any personally but I'm sure they do exist somewhere. There is so much of the world that has yet to be explored and explained by science, so who is to say what is real vs not?

The Bible clearly teaches that people who are followers of Jesus Christ will have gifts of the Spirit such as speaking in tongues, healing, interpretation of tongues and so forth. These gifts are given to people for the benefit of mankind, and I think they cannot be used for anyone's own unrighteous personal gain.
