He is freaking out about the impending responsibility. Let him know that no matter if he leaves you or not, the responsibility is just as much his as it is yours. Dont fight for him back, him know exactly how much MORE responsibility he will have without you there when its his week with the baby! some men can be such idiots. he thinks leaving you makes his life easier, when in fact it will be harder.
