So I went out and bought 5 pounds of regular maple glazed honey ham since I missed out on Heavenly Ham (everything seems to be sold out for the holidays). How can I properly heat it up (in the oven and on what temp. and how long)? I was also told not to put any glaze over it cause it might make it rubbery since it's already glazed in its prior cooking. What can I do to gaurantee its sweetness when I heat it up for Thanksgiving dinner tomorrow?

That's not true. Combine a mixture of brown sugar and brown or stadium style mustard. Cover the entire outside of the ham. Another option is to take a jar of peach or apricot preserves on low heat. Once it "melts" down. simply baste the ham, and cover with foil. Repeat every 5-7 minutes. When warmed through, remove the foil. Bake another 7-10 minutes. Turn off the oven, but let it stay put. After another 5-7 minutes...you'll have a perfectly glazed ham. Hope this helps. Happy Thanksgiving :)

The thing is already cooked, so it is a matter of warming it up. You take a big baking pan, put the ham in it, preferably on a metal riser inside the big pan, put water in the bottom of it, cover it either with a lid or tent it with aluminum foil, and stick it in the over at 300 for about half an hour... then look at it and see how it is doing. if you stick a knife in between the layers or into the meat and it isn't warm enough, you keep it in longer.

Just as it is getting "warm enough" you put some glaze on it.

you would cook it 17- 20 minutes per pound and you can put glaze on t he ham just dont do it till the last 5-10 minutes! or whats a good way is pour pineapple juice and sprinkle brown sugar over the ham for the whole cooking process and it will not make it rubbery at all and its soo good! you can make a really good grazy out of those drippings as well

Yes, it's unhealthy for him. It's salty and quite filled with energy! two portions is extra like a human serving. If she insists on feeding ur kitty ham daily, attempt to get her to simply feed him like a pinch of it or some thing. Ask her if she's gonna be the one who takes his blood and offers him insulin photographs while he is chubby and diabetic. (This is how I obtained my mother to position my tubby kitty on a vitamin at the same time I'm away at tuition.) Most ppl do not observe that pets may also get diabetes. Overweight pets are a significant trouble in our nation.. amongst different matters.
