Where's a good place to meet a woman you met via myspace in Waikiki?

I live in Kailua, and don't really know much of what's up in Waikiki.

I'm 21, so not a kid. Shes in her mid-20's

I'm with Stinky Badger and his answer. As we all know with Waikiki, parking is a pain in the ***. With the Starbucks at the end of Kapahulu, you can park right across the street at the zoo, so both of you don't have to go through the hassle of searching for parking or driving up and down Kuhio and Kalakaua.

I would definitely NOT do that Duke's suggestion, and DEFINITELY not the Hy's suggestion. Maybe it's just me, but I'd be careful with this online hookup thing....things are not always what they seem. I would want to know a little about who I'm spending a $20-$30 pupus and drinks on.

To me, meet at somewhere super-casual like Starbucks, get a coffee, talk stories little bit, and THEN, if stuff is going good, you can take a walk into Waikiki and spend some money.

No need spend money to make a good impression!

How about Duke's Barefoot Bar at the Outrigger Waikiki? It's lively and fun -- you can get a drink and/or pupus and if it seems like you might want to continue the conversation you can have dinner on the other side of the restaurant. A couple of drinks and a pupu to share would cost you about $20-25 so you don't look like a cheapskate but you're not out a ton of cash if she turns out not to be what you were hoping for.

try d.k steak house, its the best for the money. you dont need reservations, but you should get them anyway. info: 2552 Kalakaua Ave, Waikiki Beach Marriott Resort & Spa, Honolulu, HI 96815 · 808-931-6280. or if you want to go somewhere casual go to wolfgang puck, the pizza place i dont know where it is, but its on the main street.

I would say Dukes Canoe Club as it is in my opinion the best bar in Waikiki.

There is a Starbucks across from Honolulu zoo and right across from the beach. Kapahulu and kalakaua. It is a pretty location, near good parking and convenient walk to many other places.

P.S. this random hoale lives in Honolulu and visits that Starbucks often.

I'd choose a public place with frequent visitors, but not too busy. McDonald's is a good choice for a first online meeting place. Just keep in mind that you might be in for one heck of a surprise...people aren't always upfront with their appearances online. Good to find a place where you can "scope" her out and prepare yourself for the initial meeting. After meeting at McDonalds, you can head off to another location...but keep it public, simple, and with people around but not too many.

that's dangerous. and how do you know if she's really in her mid-20's?? people can make you believe anything they want when you're not talking face-to-face. don't believe everything you hear online. if this girl is underage, let's say..14, you could get in some SERIOUS trouble. as in JAIL TIME!!!!!!!
and it's illegal too. why would want to be with someone you don't personally know. she could be some serial killer or hooker for all you know
stick with people you know PERSONALLY, and not you little online cyber mates

i've seen my fair share of people raped and even killed b/c of things just like this

purchase a tiny yappy canine, placed it in a doggie gown or something the two astounding, and then walk that canine everywhere there are women people. particular to entice the attention and admiration of a lot of girls people and quite some adult adult males too. good success!
