I'd have to say yes. I have had some monsterous pains in and around my brain. Major head aches and pain/throbbing in both my temples. I also get pain in my brain after a hard day and night on the piss. This is due to dehydration of my poor brain. So yes, I strongly believe that your brain feels pain.

The brain itself has no pain fibers in it so there is no pain when the brain itself is cut.
However, the brain is wrapped in a large number of other structures that DO feel pain VERY well - the skin, muscles, skull, dura, etc. etc. etc. It's these other structures that are the source of pain when people have a headache or whack their head on something.

No, the brain has no pain receptors.
When you have a headache it's not your brain that hurts, it's the muscles in your head.

The brain itself does not have any nerve endings that would cause pain.
