Should I tell or not tell?

My uncle (I'm thirteen), watches sex videos and looks at pictures of naked women. I know this because when I look in Recent Documents, it says a title of a GROSS video or picture. My uncle and aunt have a 2 1/2 year old son, who very much loves his mom and dad. I don't know if I should tell someone about this, because when I open my mouth to say it, I get a bad feeling in my stomache and imaging my little cousin crying while my Aunt yells at my Uncle, and I see them both yelling at me, "IT''S ALL YOUR FAULT THAT MY FAMILY IS TORN APART! I HATE YOU!" Should I tell at least my Aunt, who I have told many secrets to?
And no you f'ing ______ out there, I won't tell you where he got those pics and videos.
Please don't report this question, I am pissed of a lot already.

And so everyone knows, I am 11! I know all about IT and cussing is a normal thing at my school. I feel in this certain situation, I shouldn't tell anyone, because my aunt has a very busy tireding life. she goes to work at three , comes home at ten, eats then goes to sleep. I think she has a bad life without knowing what her f'ing husband is watching on the computer. hey it's 2007, don't get all suprised about the THINGS i know.

i dont know if you should tell or not. Maybe your aunt already knows your uncle looks at that stuff. Most men do. As long as they dont let it interfere with their relationship, some couples dont mind. You could tell your aunt but i'm sure she may already know. If not, then it shouldnt be something that tears apart the family. Its really shouldnt be as big a deal as you may think it will be. How do you know they dont watch it together? Even though you probably dont look at them that way, they do have a sex life, and different couples are into different things.

If i were you, unless your uncle is being careless and just leaving the videos on or laying around, I would just leave the situation alone. It may seem real gross to you because you are so young but thats why its called Adult Entertainment.

Sweetie, I would suggest that you talk to your parents or an adult that you trust. A friends parent or grandparent , maybe someone at school. But this is not something you need to keep to yourself and have to worry about. This is not your sick problem. I would advise that you stay away from your uncles computer. Whatever does happen, it is a result of your uncles choices and actions. I didnt tell a secret and it haunted me for 15 years and I always wonder what harm was done during that 15 years. I think you are brave and know what the right thing to do is..be strong and know you are not alone.

I remember when I was 13 I thought that porn was the end of the world and completely wrong. I came from a very religious family, so it was even more forbidden in my world. So, first, I would say I understand why you're freaking out about this so much.

But it's important for you to remember that this is none of your business. At all. What your uncle does is between him, may be his wife, and God. Leave it alone.

If you aunt asks you, feel free to be honest and tell her. But other than that, just let it go. You never know, especially at 13, what goes on in a marriage. It might be hard to understand, but a lot of couples, even good religious couples, are ok with porn inside of a marriage. I doubt that your aunt is ok with him doing this on the computer. But since you don't know and since it's entirely none of your business, just ignore it.

I know that you seem very upset about this, and I would be too finding this kinda thing at 13, it makes you feel akward that your uncle looks at these kinds of things. But, to many adults, this is a very normal thing. It is really weird, but is something that you will understand more, as you mature. If hes looking at these things while hes in the presence of you, now that would be a problem. But, If it would make you feel more comftorble, and you have talked to your aunt about other things, and feel okay with telling her it, tell her. It will make you feel better. But, it shouldnt do any major devestation to the family, or rip their marriage apart. Just get alone with her, and tell her what you found. Its not something for your eyes to see anyway. He shouldnt do it, on the computer, that his nephew is using. That obviously offends you. Talk to your aunt. She will understand how you feel. Good Luck!

Your aunt may know, but she may not. pornagraphy is addictive, just like drugs. Before too long, he'll find your aunt boring and may seek more entertaining venues. I feel sorry for your aunt and for you. If you tell her, you may be screwed. If you don't tell her and she finds out you knew, you're screwed. Not fair for you. You might mention in passing to your uncle that you've "noticed" the type of sites he seems to like to visit. He might tell you to MYOB, but at least he knows that he's been found out. I don't buy the "that's just how guys are," BS. They've made a commitment and he's breaking it. It's as good as cheating.
BTW, I think most all 13 year olds need to be pissed off at someone. After a few years, you'll sort things out and be pissed off less. My 14 yo gets pissed at me every once in a while, but is usually pissed at her stepfather...they'll both grow...so will you

I would stay out of it. For all you know, it could have been someone else. Could have been your aunt. Point is, many people male and female enjoy looking at that sort of thing. It may seem strange to you, but its a common thing for adults. You probably won't understand it until you are grown up. And you wouldn't want anyone announcing to the family what they saw on your computer, either. I would suggest not using their computer again, or if you do not nosing around in their stuff. As for their baby, he is 2. He knows nothing about computers or p.o.r.n. so what difference does that make? Its not hurting him for his parent(s) to look at adult material, since they are in fact, old enough to do so.

You can talk to your aunt... simply ask her to look at the recent documents on that computer, just as you did, saying that you found that disturbing and you figured she ought to know.
She can also probably pull up his search history and any cookies.
She may choose to get a "parental filter" program installed on the computer or activated within the ISP.
She needs to know this if she is to get him into a treatment program or anything else.
After that... you need to keep a low profile... maybe stay away for a while.

maybe u should feel your aunt out on how she's thinking about that kind of stuff see where it goes from there. they also might ask why your digging around in his computer stuff or is he leaving it lying around for u to find watch your own back u might be just the right age for your uncle to start looking or maybe already has Anyway be real real careful

lol You seem to understand that watching those videos is wrong. Why don't you try to have a talk with your uncle. He knows it's wrong and has some uncontrollable urges that your aunt should know about. Better now than never because his watching those pictures and videos may turn out to an addiction and could get worse. Tell you aunt.

I wouldn't tell your aunt yet, I'd probably get the advice of a different adult in the family. Maybe your aunt already knows and doesn't care, and it would just be weird and embarrassing for your uncle to know that you know what his penis is doing when he's watching the nude videos....
