what do i HAVE to get with it?

You don't HAVE to get anything (assuming you have a TV of some description).
You may need;
- AV lead, depending on your TVs type. It doesn't include a HDMI lead if you're lucky enough to have a HD telly, but if you have a PS2 then the lead on that will work. (there is a lead in the box, can't remember which type though)
- decent broadband connection. For downloads and online multiplayer.
- another controller for multi-player (there's one in the box)
- more games. e.g. Ratchet and Clank, Call of duty 4, Uncharted, Resistance, ....

bluetooth headset, so you can talk online to your friends while you play, a tv with good 1080p outputs, hdmi cable, and a bigger hard drive.
