Yes. It would technically be suicide as u kill yourself. But u say it is for a different motive .Oh well u probably still have no right to kill yourself. If God wanted u wiv him, he would have taken u up there long ago. You have something u must accomplish to be ready to go up there. But suicide would be very bad; as u are disobeying God's plan for u .

The only way to get closer to God, is by going through tough Earthly trials and obstacles, finding the right and strong way to cope-and getting closer to wisdom that is able to help other people. When passing away, at the right time the lessons learned will bring one closer to God. Suicide comes with a hefty Karmic debt and a lot of heavenly councelling. It has no lessons learned and like school-when you drop out, you fail and have to try again! Meaning you don't get closer to God, you have to reincarnate and learn again!
The only way to be close to God right now, is to learn, love, and have compassion for others. The more you see the good in life the closer to God you'll find yourself.

Yes, because you are giving up your life - the most precious gift from God. You should go find ways to overcome the difficulties in life instead. Take these difficulties as challenges as God gives you, it isn't important if you fail or not, but as long as you are still in the game and stay till the last, you'd win at the end for having the courage to stand and fight without fear. Trying to escape isn't an option.

Suicide is murder. Only GOD can take a life. If your life is so bad pray for GOD to help you make it better. Killing yourself won't bring you closer to GOD. I don't think you want to be close to what it will bring you close to.

By definition, when a person takes his own life, it's a suicide; motivation is irrelevant.
If you kill yourself, how do you know you will go to be with God?

suicide = killing yourself. the last thing you do before you leave this planet is kill...it still counts, definitions dont change because a self centered mind thinks so.think about others, be thankful for what you have...the mind cant be thoughtful/thankful and depressed at the same time.
let go and let god

Yes, because despair and losing the will to live is in essence the same this as abandoning God as He is the one who is making you live/keeping you alive in the first place. So, with that in mind, doesn't it seem a little counter intuitive to kill oneself to get closer to God?

The only way I wouldn't condemn suicide is if you had no arms and legs. Your face was covered with burn scars. You were a deaf-mute. You got raped everyday by your dad. Oh... and you were also paralyzed from the legs down and couldn't run anywhere.
Otherwise, suicide is a permanent solution to a temporary problem and is never right. It's selfish.

Technically I suppose so..
I'm not even Christian....I'm Wiccan...so yea. I maybe can't give you the answer you're looking for.
At the same time though I've had more than one person in my life die from suicide and in all honesty...I was being childish when I was mad about it. It still hurts but I know they did what was right for them...or what FELT right for them I should say.
and I can't fault someone for trying to find peace.
Blessed be.

yes. If you need help, pray to God. God talks to us all in the manner which we will hear his Word. Suicide isn't the answer. It never is. Our lives on this planet are for a reason. We may not see the reasons right away, but they are there. Trust in God, let him help you the only way he can...
stop and listen...
