Since they aren't Christians you shouldn't really count them in your poll.

I don't need to believe it. I've researched a lot about evolution and there is no temptation to believe in it. There are so many difficulties for evolution, especially in explaining how life started. Microevolution, or whatever you want to call it is real. Animals do change. But they'll never change into something else completely. And humans never evolved from monkeys. @House the bible doesn't say to kill witches and ****'s, if you know the New Testement . Actually the bible says not to kill. You should learn about things before you form an opinion.

"Believe" is a poor word choice. Do I accept what most authoritative scientists say?
Y -- at least somewhat. I accept that the theories authoritative scientists espouse surrounding evolution are the best we have as of now, but I also accept that science itself evolves over time and what is accepted today may not be tomorrow. In other words, it is stupid to say, "Evolution is wrong because the Bible says so", but almost equally stupid to say, "The Bible is wrong about creation because science says so."
I believe that scientists are (probably) right in saying species evolve, but I'm not sure if I accept that man evolved from a common ancestor. I cannot challenge science nor do I wish to because I myself am not a scientist. I plan to be a theologian, not a scientist, so I will let the scientists figure these things out. It is a statement of faith for me to say God was involved in (the process of) creation, whether evolution was involved or not.
You should add an extra option to the poll.

Y- I recognize that theories change and what science is working with is the current best theory. Those who think that evolution and Genesis are opposed to one another are wrong.
The Bible says that God created man from the dust of the earth. Those who carried the old covenant scriptures long before the christians got them tend to view the 7 days as 7 stages of creation. I agree with that concept and the notion that a day with God is like a thousand years and a thousand years a day which isn't necessarily to be taken literally, but is meant to inform us that God doesn't measure time in the way that we do so a day could actually be a very long time.
If you try and take Genesis as a literal description of creation, then there is no sun until the 4th day - no sun - no 24 hour day.
I leave you with this:
Apes/men Judaism/Christianity Men/sons of God
What will be the end result of mankind's evolution?

"Belief" is the wrong word to use. Acceptance is better. You don't have to believe in evolution, because it occurs. You don't have to believe in the theory of evolution, just accept or reject the evidence.
So, yes, I accept (I don't have to believe, without any evidence) the theory of evolution, because it has nothing to do with God, and everything to do with what can be verified in the natural world. If you are naive enough to believe that acceptance of the theory of evolution has anything to do with proving or disproving God, than you deserve your narrow minded world view.

Me and my technicality thinking. You used the word BELIEVE.
If you had said. ACCEPT I would have said YES
I am a Christian. I believe in God.
PS I read ejc11s answer after I posted mine and I agree with it. The problem with answering questions similarly is that sometimes when I answer then there are no other answers there for me to know that.

My answer is N. NO TRUE born again Christian believes in the stupid, man-made theory of 'evolution' because it is false. There is no proof of it because it never existed to begin with. It was thought up by dumb Darwin, who, like all the rest of us, is a sinner and therefore, capable of deceiving and being wrong. God is the Creator and Sustainer of all things. He did NOT create such a ridiculous cycle as evolution. He created Adam and Eve of whom we all came from - NOT apes or monkeys. Adam and Eve were created by God to create the human race - NOT the 'monkey race'. Scientists are NOT all-knowing as God is, therefore, they are not perfect. They're always trying ways to disprove God and His word, trying to disprove Creation, but never will!
Another thought to ponder: if evolution was real, then how come it all of a sudden just stopped in its tracks? Shouldn't it be a never-ending cycle like the changing of the seasons - like birth, life and death? Why don't we see other people 'transforming' into something else; say, like 'Medusa' with four arms and snakes on our heads instead of hair??Well, I'm sure scientists are trying to figure out a good excuse or reason why evolution isn't seen today - can't wait to hear their obsurd and ludicrous reasoning in answering the question of why it isn't happening now.
