Small technical point... and maybe it's your scanner... The contrast on all your photos is weird--the blacks are not black, but about 60-70% gray. Except for the one of the two shoes.
As far as the photos themselves, the most appealing one to me is the shot of the truck at the end of the grilled "tunnel" (an overpass walkway maybe). It's about pointing out different simple textures and lighting (the wire, the frame piping, the shadow lines), and contrasting it with the complex "real life"--the truck and trees behind it. This is partly what the "language" of photography is meant for--pointing things out to the person looking at your photo.

Not contrast and not strong Black and White qualities, try to print them again, and could send them for competitions,exam,exhibitions,print for some photography magazines,etc. Good Luck.

To me, the best image is of the tree and field. It is nicely balance. The others lack contrast, so you should fix this.
