yes is there a way to put a dvd into a ps3 and then pause or watever so that the next time u use the said film it carrys on from .from where u where watching it from ?ps doesnt have to be pause just wonderd if it was possible ?

play dvd pause etc then after the consoles been turned off .play the same dvd from the pause point or however u do it?

Yes, it is possible for you to do this with the PS3. If you have a DVD playing on the PS3 and you are watching a movie, press the O button to quit the DVD playback then click yes to confirm that you want you want to quit playback and then you will be taken back to the PS3's XMB title screen. Then if you click on the DVD icon again to start the DVD, the movie will start back to where you stopped it.

If you turn the PS3 off, you can't do it though.

if you press triangle on your game pad, a menu will come up of all your controls for the dvd player. you can pause, fast forward, fast reverse etc with this. lol
