i can't hear my washer motor. my washer fluid won't spray out onto my windshield. i topped off the fluid and poked a pin in all 4 nozzle holes. i can't hear the washer motor. i looked in the engine bay at the relays and fuses and nothing is labeled for windshield washer fluid motor and i also checked under the dash in the fuse panel and nothing says washer motor? any ideas? i will probably have to see if i can reach it underneath the engine bay or probably have to tear off the fenderwell shield and meter it out. anyone replace washer fluid motor before? i can't believe there it not a fuse? unless i am missing it?

Old washer fluid some times turns to vinegar and mold grows. Your first job is to pull the hose passengers side at the hood "T" and see if washer fluid sprays out when the washer motor runs. Clog may be behind the nozzels and nozzels don't cost that much and push into the hood from on top. So after 30 minutes of welding tip cleaners compressed air you may have some squirt back I just start with new nozzels and work my way back to the washer bottle under the front fender liner ahead of the wheel. Some times the pump motor runs and does not push fluid. Good Luck.

I'm assuming your talking about the VQ35, which I'm pretty sure is longitudinally mounted in the skyline, the motor in your maxima is laterally mounted (This is a big indicator that the swap will take vast amounts of money and fabrication to work, and is generally not worth your time). Although the VQ35 is an option in just about every car Nissan makes, the time and money invested for the swap would probably be more than just purchasing a newer vehicle with the VQ35. And if you did mean the RB26, its a similar story, not worth your time.

look in the fuse box real good i know there's one for it other than that they do have to be replaced once in a while, their not hard on Nissan's to replace though, but its easier to replace if you remove the reservoir to get to it,i did mine on my sentra about 20 bucks for the pump and about 30 minutes to replace it,not a hard job at all, good luck on it,and happy thanksgiving.
