will the bank deposit payroll checks on thanksgiving?

I live in ca and I have my checks direct deposited but i havent recieved my paycheck yet and thanksgiving is tomorrow so what should i expect

No, Thanksgiving is a Federal holiday and banks are closed.

You will have to wait until Friday before any money is deposited. However, when it comes to direct deposit, usually the money is deposited the night before your scheduled pay day. The money COULD be deposited already.

You should be able to use your banks automated system by calling their 800 number.
