Yep, 2008, 2009, and so on. Have you played Uncharted: Drake's Fortune yet? That is a prime example of what the PS3 delivers when developers are take time to learn the PS3 inside-out. The PS3 exclusives for 2008 are looking very promising. There is just too much going to be done for the PS3 in 2008 that it has to dominate.
How can you ignore titles like: Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots, Metal Gear Online, Eight Days, Getaway, LittleBigPlanet, PlayStation Home, Tekken 6, Africa, Final Fantasy (Number(?)), and etc.? People will want a PS3 by summer of 2008.
Dang, I need an HDTV...

Yes, I have always thought that the PS3 will dominate 2008.
All you have to do is look at the PS3 exclusive games for 2008 and the answers are all right there. Killzone 2, Metal Gear Solid 4, The Getaway 3, God of War 3, Gran Turismo 5, Final Fantasy XIII, Haze, Tekken 6 and the list just goes on and on.
The PS3 had to use 2007 to pick up steam and in 2008, the PS3 will be like a rocket engine and will be flying past the Xbox 360 without a doubt.

Yes, if things go according to schedule. All I know is that 2008 should see a lot of PS3 blockbuster games. LittleBigPlanet, Killzone 2, Metal Gear Solid 4, and hopefully, Final Fantasy XIII and FF vs. XIII and God of War 3. David Jaffe should have something interesting from his own studio. If those games don't get people excited about the PS3, then Sony has got a huge problem.

No doubt it.System Sales wise the PS2 will continue to dominate,Game wise if Sony gets out Gran Turismo 5 by 2008 then definetly but I believe the 360 will dominate 2008 and im not a 360 fan and dont own one I own a PS2 & PS3 but because of halo 3 and many other games I think 08 is its year.

The blu-ray disc can hold 54GB on a single dual layer disc compared to a 9GB dual layer DVD that is in 360, giving developers more space to create great games such as GTA:IV. On PS3 it will come on one blu-ray and on the 360 it will come on several dvd's and will require a hard drive. This will lead to more system sales.
Games: Army of two, Devil may cry 4, GTA:IV (65% voted to get on PS3 vs 369 on IGN), Liar, Metal Gear Solid 4, Grand Turismo 5 (best driving game by CarHail).

yes i do because so far it has the most features the most exclusive games and it price has been going down another reason it should dominate is because it has a ton of new games planned for 2008.
