There are 2 choices that I use. Either I hold my breath for as long as I can, or I take 9 small sips of water and 1 huge 1 just incase they come back.

Whenever I have hiccups, I drink big gulps of water. It makes the hiccups go away.

This will only ever work once- ask yourself
"When is the last time you've seen a white horse?"
I swear it worked for me! But only one time. It was a bad case of the hiccups.

Eat peanut butter.
Drink some water.
Hold your breath (but in your lungs not your cheeks).
Concentrate on something.
Take your two index fingers, put them close together (across from each other), but make sure they don't touch. I know it sounds weird, but it really does work most of the times. My grandpa taught me that. Just remember to concentrate on that.

Try to relax and breath evenly, without being excitable. Start with a gentle deep breath. Keep your breath, and yourself calm, and relaxed. Think deeper thoughts, and lay down breathing calmly. Go to sleep if you can.

Suck on a piece of hard candy. Try a peppermint or something of that nature. They work for me.
