a girl to have never made out with anyone? i know a girl who's 17 and she's never made out. i don't like to talk about hooking up with people infront of her because it makes her feel like a loser because she's never done it. she's pretty and stuff but shes never made out. sometimes i think its weird that she hasnt and sometimes i realize its not a big deal and that it will happen someday. what do you think, is that weird?

nope....I was almost 17 when I got my first boyfriend. That was the first time I was ever kissed too. I also know a lot of people who are the same and very pretty. Its more about the type of people they go for, not necessarily who they are.

Well I am 18 and never been kissed. Not because I am prude, I think its gross, or because I am ugly. I have had plenty of offers, I just don't want to go around kissing every loser I meet. I want it to be someone special, not something I will end up ask myself why on earth did I kiss them. I have friends who are also 18 that have never been kissed. So, 17 and never made out isn't that uncommon I guess.

Not at all. I think that 17 year old is going to college and will marry some guy with a great future. While the girls who have been making out for years will marry some guy, have 3 kids and live in a trailer. Then at the 10 year reunion, you will be sick you didn't take the same path she did.

She might be prude, or maybe she just wants to wait to have a boyfriend. If you want to be a real good friend, through a summer party or something, invite like 5 single guys and 5 single girls and play spin the bottle. Then after 10 mins, up the ante by making out instead of just a kiss. ( It's best to have a closet near by cuz some people don't like doing it in public.)

I'm in college and I've never made out with anyone. I haven't found the right person yet.
And with all the diseased floating around I wouldn't be to quick to start hooking up just for the points anytime soon.

I am sure that she isn't the only seventeen year old person in your school who hasn't made out yet. I am sure there is more of her out there who either won't admit to NOT making out or they are lying about their sexual exploits. Even in the year 2007 there are many who make it to their adult years before experiencing love and sex for the first time.
There are good reasons why she hasn't "made out" yet. It could be for social, religious, or other personal reasons. So no it isn't weird that she hasn't made out yet. Of course if she makes it to her 30's and she hasn't fallen off the wagon yet, then she might have a problem.

nah itz not weird, some ppl just lik to concentrate o ntheir studies more and u know how some parents r way too overprotective. besides 17 is not bad. u shouldnt judge her this way anwyas, be her friend or somethin.

this happens for people at different ages so its not weird at all. . perhaps she is saving herself for someone who really cares . . to prevent herself from getting hurt and ruining the sensation when mr right comes along

I don't think it's weird, maybe she just gets very,very nervous with kind of stuff, but yet she still wants it.
She should do it on her own time
