it could go either way. If you exhaust yourself while doing so then yes it will effect you, otherwise no it might actually help you in some ways just as long as you dont over exert yourself while doing so!

I run track and field/cross country and one of my coaches said that it will have an effect if you do it the night before, so i think it would definitely apply if you do it the day of if he is correct.

It will make you more relaxed and you will lose some of your competetive edge. Look at Rocky in the movie, he didn't have sex with Adrian while training.

Don't think so...? Never heard of that, but then again, I'd think that it might distract you a bit. But think of it like this..."Hey! If I win, I know what my reward will be." Something like that to take the distraction and turn it into a motivation!!!
