i live in by Tampa Fl so going out in the cold is a lil hard it was like high 80's here today = ( but tyty. And no i am going Navy just my master at arms (basically Navy's MP) school is at Lackland. Glad to hear its nice there

I'm at TSC Great Lakes right now (pretty much across the street from RTC Great Lakes)...
ICE WAS FALLING OUT OF THE SKY THIS AFTERNOON!!!
But... I put in for orders next week.
Advice: No matter how much bootcamp and even 'A' School blows (and trust me, there WILL be a point where it blows big time), it is NOT the real Navy. It does get a LOT better. No matter how much you'll want to quit, it will get a lot better, so keep at it and don't let life defeat you.

It'll be cold as all hell. My suggestion would be to go out in winter weather for a while (no more than a few minutes) in nothing but a T-shirt. That way wearing nothing but sweats won't seem so bad.

Im in San Antonio! you must be air force... it'll be cold up north but once you come down south it'll warm up quick.... just keep your head in the game and don't let none of those DI's mind tricks get to you... and don't ever forget... they won't make you do anything they can't or haven't already done! good luck... you'll do fine!

It's gonna be a brutal winter for you lol. I spent a year in great lakes and it sucked. Fortunatly for you , your only gonna be there for about 3 months.
