Ok, this is going to depend.

If your just heating, or trying to keep the contents hot (warm), and will have the bowl away from open flame, or oven elements, then I would say it should be ok.
You may be able to bake in it, but being it's a bowl, I doubt if it could stay too far away from your heat source.

Pyrex is the original glass bowl for oven cooking. I have a number of them from the l950's with lids. Don't go from extreme cold to extreme heat or the other way either. Extreme changes might shock the glass and break it.

All Pyrex is oven safe to 400º. Any higher and it will shatter. If you're not sure I'd use it just for for microwave cooking and storage.

Yes - if it is Pyrex. Look on the bottom of the bowl for the name - this will ensure you that it is oven safe and will not break.

yes pyrex is made for cooking and baking. the glass it is made of is made to withstand high heat. so yes it should be fine. just make sure to keep an eye on it as it may cook differently than in a cassarole or brownie pan. hope it works out! i ahve to improvise all the friggin time when cooking b/c i have like no stuff.

yep, thats what's good about pyrex you can do anything to it and it will be just fine. i use mine in the oven and microwave. here's a funny story : at my bridal shower my maid of honor was handing me gifts and she handed me this huge box and i dropped it and i started freakin out and someone yelled, "that's okay it's the pyrex!"

You must be certain the dish is oven safe. Since it is a MIXING BOWL, I would contact the mfr with the link below. Last thing you need is a glass dish exploding on you that didn't need to!
Happy baking!
