i have gapped teeth and im looking for an inexpensive way to fix them. I saw this website-www.teethgap.com and was wondering if their method works, and to make sure that its not some kind of scam.

It only takes a few grams of pressure to move teeth. I've seen people do it with their fingers. But the problem comes with controlling how your teeth move. Those bands may work, but your teeth may come together crooked or create spaces on the other teeth adjacent. How you bite affects gaps too.

As for that website, they just look like any other cheap rubber bands. Just find them somewhere else for a couple dollars and see if it works. If you notice some crooked-ness stop and go see an orthodontist, or just go. It is worth the risk?

Couple ways to fix.
Retainer but might not be permanent. There tends to be a reason why the teeth gap in the first place. Something is causing the teeth to move.
Dental bonding can hold teeth in place and also add some body to the teeth.
I developed a gap due to a tongue thrust and it was fixed with bonding. Gap is completely gone but that was the front teeth.
Don't know what teeth and how many in your situation.

i suggest you go and take a dental x ray

sometimes the gapped teeth is caused by unerupted supernummery tooth (extra tooth) especially between your two front teeth. it's called the mesio dens.

if it is there, the gap would not close with the help of any device like braces or the clear band the website has.

the band provide pressure that would cause the teeth to move in the same principle like how the braces work.

but the bad thing is that, i'm fearful that it would cause your teeth to ROTATE to form butterfly shape instead to pulling them together.

braces would not cause it because the metal wire in the shape of an arch has 'memory' that pull the teeth to the desired arch form.

so, i think you should consult your dentist about this.
