It looks ugh in picture, but it is soo pretty on and the green is perfect. It is dressy, maybe night time fabric, but the ceremony is at 11am. i'm just wondering what type of shoes. i know strappy would look too evening. it's in may, too. are there shoes that would make it maybe no too cocktail looking...it is a bridesmaid dress, though, so maybe im worrying about shoes for nothing. :)

You pretty much have to go with a strappy sandal, just don't go glitzy. In a nude or bone colour would be best.

I don't think a strappy shoe looks "too evening" at all! I prefer wearing strappy shoes during the daytime when it's hot so my feet can breathe. It's okay if your bridesmaid dresses look dressy; even a morning wedding can be a formal occasion.

I agree with the idea of a muted metallic color. A nude-colored shoe would also look good on light- to medium- skinned bridesmaids. It wouldn't take any attention away from the dress and could easily be worn again by the bridesmaids.

I'd say strappy is the way to go, and I also agree with the muted metallic. I'm personally a fan of silver... is the dress dark green or pale green? That would determine which way to go with the color of the shoe. Perhaps you could snip a piece out of the hem or maybe the bridal shop has a swatch of the color that you could take with you to compare with shoes?

I think it's a very pretty dress. The only reason it doesn't look great in the picture is because the model is nothing but bones.

A simple pump either closed toe or peep toe would be nice. A metallic colour like bronze or gold, or a neutral like cream, depending on the shade of green .

Maybe a peep-toe, sling back or a or a strappy sandle with a kitten heel

similar shoes to the model in the photo - but in a nice metallic color- like a rusty pale brown - then the girls can wear a soft metallic lipstick and also jewellery with tiny green jewels on a pale metallic

although maybe if they came in a different color. I didnt check.

also, isnt 11am a little early? most people need a few hours to get ready with hair and decorate the church, unless you can do that the day before and arent having a large wedding party. love the dress!
