Take into consideration for every who will say Jesus is God there is a person who will say he is not and also consider it disrespect (to God) of the highest order.

You may also wish to contemplate this... if I was to all truth and certainty become a rock I am by definition no longer a man.

Remember, nowhere in the Gospel does Jesus directly say I am God. If this is a crucial pillar of faith, the gospel would be more clear on the matter. He may have said God is my father but he has also said that all good believing people are his children too. To say that Jesus is actually begotten of God is not only speculation but perhaps the greatest error in judgement a believing person can make.

Of course you can. There are several religions that believe in a God without Jesus. People will tell you that it has historically proven that Jesus existed, but I disagree. According to one book, yes. Several other texts, no. I have read reports that there were numerous historians who lived in and around the Mediterranean when Jesus supposedly was alive and there are only four that alluded to his existance. However, each one of their entries on the subject contains only a few sentences that refer to Christ, which was more a title, meaning the "Anointed one", and not a name. These four people being Pliny the younger, Suetonius, Tacitus and Josephus. Josephus's testomony has been proven to be a forgery for hundreds of years. Now I am not claiming this to be absolute fact, because I don't think any of us can know anything for sure, but there is research out there about this. I am not putting down anyone's religion or faith, but merely referencing texts from that time other than the bible.

Sure you can! The concept of God simply states that there's one, all-powerful deity responsible for control (and possibly creation) of our universe. Christianity isn't the only religion out there (although it's the one I follow), and Jesus is specific to Christianity. There are other religions that recognize the existence of "a" God (though some argue it's not the same god), but not Jesus, or if they believe Jesus existed, that he isn't the son of God. Islam, for example, says that yes, Jesus was a prophet, but not the son of God. Hinduism recognizes multiple gods (in the thousands I believe - not just one "mega god" but tons of small ones). Shinto is kind of similar, but looks at "spirits" instead of a God.

You can believe whatever you want. Just do some soul searching and make sure you don't allow yourself to believe what's easy and convenient, but what's really true for you, no matter how hard it may be.

It is possible. I think (not 100% sure) that Jews believe in God, but do not believe Jesus was the Son of God, rather just a great prophet. However, believing in God, and Jesus being completely nonexistent is pretty different.

You sure can! You can believe in anything you want, in fact, more than 1/2 the population of this Earth don't believe in Jesus as their God! So, you won't be the first.

Well no.

1. Jesus is God.
2. If you reject Jesus, you reject God.
3. You cannot get to God except through Jesus.
4. God will not even listen to you unless you have repented of sins and received Jesus and been washed clean in His blood.
5. If you reject Jesus, you will go to Hell. That is the truth, and the truth does not always tickle.

If you are Christian, no. But God means different things to different people. To Christians, He is The Father. To others, He/She/It is a general form of a higher power. Depending on what you think God is, you most certainly can believe in God but not Jesus.

Yes, that's what the Jews believe.

They believe that Jesus was not the messiah. They believe that they are still wanting for someone to come. They believe in God only.

Nope. God and Jesus go hand-in-hand. You can believe in a higher power - something you don't understand or pretend to know though. Give God a new name, and you're all good. I like to call Him "Mother Nature". Whatever makes you happy is what you should believe. Belief, after all, is the most important part.
