You are right in both assumptions; could be anything and she also is being nice as far as meaning. So all you will definitely get for an answer will be intrigue. If you want to play it safe, return the same gratitude and also let her know how good you feel having her texting you such a good wish message, regardless whether she has bf. And then be patient and wait and see. If you are not afraid of screwing this one up, put on a brave-heart and tell her how you feel about her directly and get it over. You will be smarter on the next opportunity, should you get an disappointing feed back, and will not need to ask this kind of question that makes you feel stupid. I am assuming that she meant "grateful to you" rather than "grateful for you."

Well, I would say she is just being nice. In fact, it may have been a mass text she happened to forward to you. I have seen one quite similar delivered to two different people. Don't read into things. If you really want to know she is interested then make a move. Don't play guessing games! Just do it!

If she was just being nice she would have stopped at " great thanksgiving" the add on sounds like a subtle hint to me.

Hmmm, I would say, if you have been really close friends for a long time it probably means shes truly grateful for your friendship. If you do not, however have a history, its not a text you would send to just anybody. If she had a boyfriend, and sent that to you-he would be pissed! I would go for it! She sounds sweet!

She wants something from you.

if she didnt she will wait to tell you until the actual day. she is waiting for you to invite her on a date. ask her is she is doing anything for thanksgiving if not ask her if she wants to eat with you. The whole im absolutely greateful for you" she is on you. make a move. she appreciates you more than a friend
GOOD LUCK AND HAPPY THANKSGIVING

If she had just said Happy Thanksgiving, then I would say she is just being nice, but with the added " I am thankful for you" I'd say she is being more then just nice.

I think she may like you- I think she is definately letting you know it would be ok if you were to ask her out. She says she is grateful for you which to me seems likes she needs you and is happy to have you in her life

a girl is not going to text you something like that unless she is in some way attracted to you OR unless ya'll are REALLY good friends. If you are attracted to her and feel some chemistry there, I am sure she feels the same way from this text i am reading

It is a subtle way to ensue something more. I know I am a master at the "game". Give the girl some not so subtle hints that you like her, I bet it takes you places. Good luck, luv!

Honestly, she probably mass text messaged that to everyone in her address book. But that doesn't mean she doesnt like you, but you should text her back. "I'd be more grateful if you'd be my girlfriend." You'll make her Turkey Day
