I was told this so many times amd i just know if it is true.... If it is please explain why and if not well....explain why thiss might be a common misconception.

well one time i watch a program on the discovery health channel and they said that genetically your body is already set to some type of hair and shaving doesn't make theme grow different

It's a myth, the hair does not grow thicker or grows more hair when you shave. It just appears to look like you have thicker hair.

people say that it is a myth, but for me it's true.
i started to shave 4 years ago and my legs are now super hairy, gross i know. it used to take a week for my hair to grow back but now, it grows back the next day. and yes it is thicker, it is so much more noticeable. i regret shaving, but if i don't do it anymore, i look like a gorrilla.

Your growing up.
It all started when your nut's dropped (testrone)
You have gone thru purberty.
Later in life, this is a bad thing, you have hair growing out of your ears, nose, chest, bung.
And it leaves the top of your head thru stress.
Shaving has nothing to do with hair growth.

Nope. What happens is all the cut hair grows back at the same rate so it looks thicker, but it's all the same.

Well when I started shaving my legs, I soon realized that my leg hair grew faster. And now my legs get a little pricklier than normal .

yep it does when i shave my pits they grow FAST like the next day....and my legs too....they're darker and spikier and it's almost as if it hurts me...lol unless there is something wrong with my hair
