it shouldn't matter, we just feed out dogs what food that they like, just because the dog is pure breed doesnt mean that they need higher quality food.

A dog is a dog no matter if it's pb or a mutt so if you feed a pb dog garbage it's going to suffer from poor nutrition but you could feed a mutt top quality food and it's going to be a healthy and happy dog...so no I would feed the same regardless of if my dog was pb or a mutt, it's your dog you want to treat it the best you can no matter it's pedigree.

"high dollar purina" isn't good enough for my mutts. It's either Raw or Innova(about 4 times more expensive that your high dollar purina). It has nothing to do with breed, or lack there of. I believe ALL dogs deserve, need the absolute best nutrition. You can't get this from anything you can get at a grocery store or walmart.

No, it does not matter. Price doesn't necessarily equal quality though; Purina isn't really that great of a food. I actually can get Canidae around here for cheaper than Science Diet would be.

All dogs are the same species regardless of breed so they all need the same food - MEAT. Both of the food examples you gave contain far too many grains and other fillers to be considered a good choice.

Purina sucks Ol Roy mega sucks. I feed my mutt the best I can afford. all natural kibble called Canidae and cans of EVO 95% venison(deer meat FYI) canned food. And no food is not breed specific. and no, both mutts and purebreds deserve the very best!!

all dogs should be fed a HIGH QUALITY FOOD, no matter if its a 3 lb chihuahua a 300lb mastif or a generic mutt...
and purina is NOT a high quality food!

Breed doesn't have to do with it. You should feed quality food, no matter what (and by quality I do NOT mean Pedigree, Science Diet, etc).
