i want to buy condoms....?

im 16 and me and my boyfriend want to have sex please dont lecture me but how do i buy condoms without my parents knwing they'd flip...and i would try getting them free but im scared they'd get home before me one day and see the free trojan...any ideas?? thanks

You don't get weird looks if you buy them, you get looks of, "these people are being responsible." I have to tell you if you're embarrassed or nervous about buying condoms, you are not ready to have sex. YOU COULD DIE from unprotected sex. It's not a joke. If you get the free ones, or buy them for that matter, make sure they haven't expired (they have a date on the package) and put them in your room, in your purse, somewhere private. Parents never want their daughters to have sex, but I guarantee you they'd rather see you using a condom than getting pregnant and losing the rest of your youth.

Find the nearest free clinic in your town. Go there. While you're at it, schedule an appointment, if you aren't already seeing a "female" doctor. They will usually give you condoms for free. Also, they can get you started on the pill or depo shots for little to no cost. They will not tell your parents. They are not allowed to.

It seems you are trying to take responsibility for your actions. That is very good. Take it one step further and have a doctor check you out to make sure everything is okay.

How is having condoms you bough any different that ones you got free as far as them finding them? Keep them under your mattress or in the pocket of something you don't wear very much.

Go for the free ones...if you are embarrassed , you will be either way...

If you go to any gas station or drug store you can buy them without permission.

yes you will get weird looks because generally, 16 year olds shouldn't be having sex. BUT I'm glad you want to be responsible by using a condom. Find a womens health clinic and make yourself an appointment. They will not call and tell your parents that you were there. They are very confidential. Just be as responsible as you can and really think about it before you do it.

no you wont get weird looks. but a really good spot to get them would be in a convenient store bathroom or just buy them there. buying condoms is a everyday thing. it's nothing major. and even if they look at you weird they'll only see you for like 2 minutes out of your whole life

Planned parenthood and your local heath dept give them for free.
I personally NEVER trusted the ones from gas station machines. I don't know why.
No one will look at you funny. Don't let your embarassment influence into having unprotected sex! I also think that if your mature enough to have sex you need to be mature enough to buy condoms.

First of all --- good for you for having safe sex.

Just go to the pharmacy and use cash. Don't worry about strange looks. People buy condoms all day.

If you don't feel comfortable with your parents knowing that you are sexually active, just put the condoms somewhere they won't find them.

I used to work in the Health and Beauty section in a retail store and it always amusing to me to see people buy condoms (male or female). I guess maybe it's just me, but I always got a nice laugh to see how people react when other people realize that they are buying condoms. Some people are just really insecure about it. Honestly, regardless of who is doing the buying doesn't matter. I find people who buy them "smart." Too many ignorant people out there in regards to STD's and high risk of pregnancy. I remember one time one female shopper was comparing condoms and was so embarrased she blushed bright red. =)

Cashiers don't really care about you buying condoms. It's not their business to know anyway, bad business etiquette. I wouldn't worry so much.

Go to the supermarket and buy some. Just add them to some groceries. And be calm and collected. Its no one else's business if you are buying them, so ignore any weird looks you may get. It is much better than diseases and pregnancy, so you are being smart.

Just go to the store and buy them. You can get them ractically anywhere. If you think you're ready to do it then you should be ready to buy them. If you get weird looks, so what. Who cares. Just go buy them. And as for your parents finding out, just find a good place to hide them. Unless, you have the kind of parents who go sneaking around your room, in that case i dont know what to tell you. Good luck.
