i trying to fine a really nice dish to make for my oyfriend and i just realized that he has to be the pickiest person i know. he dosent like soups, anything with GROUND BEEF (except tacos...?), nuts of any kind, sausage, hotdogs, tea, coffee, hot chocolate or anything with hot liquid, tomatoes, meat sauces...i may not seem like much but when i try to find something nice, im very limited. do you know anyone like this? (and any tips on the food would be great too)

Geez! If what you said is true, he really is picky!
If you want to make him something special, it's best to start off by knowing what he does like. Does he like meat? Steak? Chicken? Turkey? Then ask what, if any, vege's he likes, or pasta. It's difficult to come up with a menu when you don't know what one likes. If he's really that picky, you need to ASK him what he likes, that way, he won't hurt your feelings if you fix something that he doesn't eat, and you won't have to worry about wasting your time fixing something that he won't bother eating.

Yes, My husband is like that too.... only the ground beef/meat sauce thing is nuts! lol.. My hubby's fav food is spaghetti... anyway.. is he a fan of pasta? If so.. try a nice chicken alfredo with penne pasta... salad... and some bread sticks.. that's nice.... or you can do a steak, potato, salad meal... all men love steak!!! Not sure what else you can try without really knowing what he DOES like... so Good luck and Happy Thanksgiving!!!

my husband is very picky, which has also taught me about buying fresh seafood, for instance... and he only likes my pasta dishes when i cook, 'cause he's great in the kitchen. took me a month for him to try crab legs. his mom used to call him "the Marquis".
but for picky, the title goes to my bf Pat who eats her chicken wings with a knife and fork!!! is that picky or what!
