I just sent the local food panty a case of spaghetti sauce and a case of spaghetti noodles. I have been trying to figure out what else I could sent to the food bank that people like to eat and know that I really do care. Any suggestions?
I found out people I work with go to the food bank and I feel terrible about it and would like to help out in whatever way I can without shaming or embarrasing anyone.

Any can food items and breads. I wouldn't send anything that needed to be refrigerated.

Best way and the most rational thing to do is to ask the food bank what they need.
I'm sure they have some leaflets saying what are the basic things people should give.

Any staple product you give would be helpful . Rice dried beans, instant potato's cans of soup can vegetables, flour cornmeal grits. tuna spam. My job recently held a food drive for one of our co-workers who was on FMLA, There is no shame in help someone with problems. All they ask is that it be non parish able.
