My teeth are not 'yellow' but I want them really white. I've tried the White glo home kit which sucked.
Im thinking of saving up to have it professionally done, but has anyone actually done this and achieved significant results from it? If yes, tell me which product/method you used pls!!

i work in a dental office. ZOOM whitening is a great in office whitening system. you have dramatic results in an hour or so. plus, they give u bleaching trays for at home use. if that's out of your budget, crest whitening strips are also effective. it takes a little longer, but u'll still get a good result. just make sure u form the strips to your teeth to avoid uneven whitening.
good luck!!!!!!!

a good spin brush like triumph or sonicare will also help to achieve a whiter smile. plus, it's good for your oral care as well. people who use these tend to have less cavities. don't forget to floss. a good whitening toothpaste is crest vivid whitening toothpaste.

Sad to say, I am a smoker and a coffee drinker. Both things are horrible on teeth. I tried every strip on the market and nothing seemed to work. Then, quite by accident I found something that did work. In less then a week I noticed a huge difference...and now, my teeth are very white and stay that way. You have to be a twice a day brusher though. get sensodyn whitening toothpaste. sensodyn is a toothpaste used for people with sensative teeth. I have used it for 20 years. One time when I purchased it, I actually got the one that had the added whitening formula. I'm not joking, this stuff was amazing!

Yes I was a dental assistant and I was responsible doing the bleaching for patient. What I used for all patient is night white 16% or 22%. This can be done at home by wearing a tray. Although it may take one to two weeks to see a greater result,it is the best way to bleach b/c it gives the teeth time to absorb and settle. Another option is the zoom bleach but I must tell you it's not my favorite. Because this is done in the office with in a matter of an hour to two hours, I feel that you don't get a good result b/c it doesn't really give the teeth time to settle. From what I've seen, it is best to used the night white at home. The results are soooo much better and yes a big significant. Also, it is much more expensive to do the zoom bleach and you would still have to follow up by doing a couple home bleach for a few days. My best advice, don't get suck in when they try to convince you to the the zoom b/c it's so much faster. Yes that is true it is faster but the result of night white home bleach is far greater than zoom.

Using those strips is inconvenient. You have to keep them in your mouth for half an hour twice a day.

I finally had my dentist make me a custom tray to fit my teeth and I buy the gel from her and it works faster and safer.

I am not willing to give up drinking coffee to have ultra white teeth, my teeth are professionally cleaned twice a year, I floss and brush twice a day and I use the whitening gel.

Don't you think that people that have toilet bowl white teeth look artificial? Normal human teeth are not that shade of white. I personally appreciate clean shiny teeth over those glow in the dark white teeth.

Good luck, hope you find what you're looking for!

of course it works, Crest whitener bleaches your teeth...but you know what actually works better cause it's not as painful? (I mean, bleach WILL get on your gums and that burns.)

Sonicare toothbrush! The elite model. It costs a few bucks but SO WHAT? You want to save money, then don't even think about dating...

I don't think any of that garbage works. As ususal companies will market anything. Unfortunately instead of visiting our local dentist and getting the proper procedure done, we'd rather waste money on teeth whiteners. They do not work folks!

The Crest Whitening strips are awesome. use the 2-week course. The 1-week course hurt so bad!
I use the 2-week course every 6 months and always get compliments on my teeth.

There is also a Crest White Strips that is "denstist" strength for about $60 or so. One box will do and I was amazed at how effective they were and how long it lasts. Only drawback is ya gotta see the Dentist to get em usually.

This method is also inexpensive:

Buy Crest Vivid White toothpaste and use it liberally day and night. It gets my teeth white because it has that icky bleach goo in it from the white strips but the gross taste is masked by minty freshness.

Crest White Strips, the regular ones work wonders! They wok so well, I only need to use them once every few months. And when I say once, I don't mean a box, or for he 14 days, just one little 30 minute session with me and my White Strips does the trick. :-)
