First of all, understand that I hate Hillary Clinton.

However, I do know that in May she voted to increase military pay by about 3.5%. Also, however, you should know that about 200 million in New York military construction was being put into the budget, so she needs some good face time with the military to get it.

Does she like the military? I think not and can only say that many, many men and women in the service who worked around the White House or were involved with her "travels" stated that she personally treated the military personnel with disdain and dishonor.

You are correct that whomever we elect needs to be a devout supporter of our military forces. Only we (you and I who have served or supported our spouses) understand the difficulty in living on a meager income in the military. Many folks in this country would thing $30k is a fortune for annual income. But, when you are deployed for 1-2 years and maintaining 2 households and other associated costs there is now way in hell that $30k is $30k. My wife suffered for 27 years as I served, but when I retired and entered the civilian sector, I never imagined how much more money we would have on hand. Unbelievable difference.

I remember someone once wrote:

"If there is someone in the administration that feels that we, the hard-working American soldiers, don't need additional pay raises, then maybe they should get from behind their desk and pick up a gun and vest and go stand guard at the entry control points in Iraq. And while they are out there, let's take away their six-figure income and give them $3.50 per day on top of anywhere from $15K-$45K per year.

"For all that we give to keep our country safe, the administration should at least want to help us eliminate any burden we may have financially. No, I'm not saying make us rich, and no one who enters the armed services expects to ever be rich. But we don't expect to have to take out loans just to put food on the table for our families either."

So, as far as Hillary, I do not think she is the choice. Frankly, I do not know who the heck should be the choice right now. It's just politics and we are only military. We are honorable and they only want to be elected.

There's a strange perception that Republicans are pro-military and Democrats are anti-military. But for the last 30 years, this has been the exact opposite of the truth. Republicans have repeated in that time frame voted to cut military spending and jobs, while Democrats have fought to at least maintain the status quo on military spending at home.

That's how Bill Clinton balanced the budget. On the backs of the Military and their dependents.

I know some Hollywood and liberal news types have said that, but I don't know if she's ever had the balls to do so. I will say that Bill had a lot of service members on welfare, and we currently have no reason to think she would run the country any different than he did.

Just more outrageous lies about Hillary, darling.

It's up to you to google or research these things, and not accept them at face value.

Other frequent lies and slanders include the baseless "she hates the military" and the hilarious "she's a socialist" and the preposterous ones about mudering people.

Really, most people who post about Hillary are just spreading hatred like manure and don't have a clue what they are talking about. They wouldn't know a fact if they tripped over it, because they are too lazy to get off their butts and look things up.

They want to hear what they believe, not what contradicts what they believe. That's what hatred is.

No. She didn't, and none of the folks responding that she did can provide any link to the quote.

Actually Hillary voted for military pay raises.

That Bush opposed.

Things are not the way they get painted by the right wingers; not even close.

Too much? I have family members in the military who qualify for WIC and other aid programs. I think our enlisted people are underpaid.

I don't know if she said it but it sounds like most Dem's think.

They would be happier if they could do away with the military completely.

Those congressmen would love to move their offices to the pentagon.

I'll be checking back, Hopefully someone has a link showing this.

Because I have seen claims that the military is swinging her way and that could be the end of America as we know it.
